AION 1.0: what changes, area by area
AION 1.0 was released on 11 October 2026: one instrument on one screen, every figure with its source, and the same engine for developers and AI agents.
AION is Equilibrium's financial market analysis suite: it aggregates price, fundamental, options and macroeconomic data from external providers, enriches it with quantitative models and serves it through a web app. Version 1.0 was released on 11 October 2026. This note goes through what changes, area by area: the summary of an instrument, the source of its figures, the models, Brain, access for developers and AI agents, and the two themes.
Pulse: one instrument, one screen
Pulse summarises one instrument on a single screen. In one place it shows:
- the price and the market session;
- the market state, and what has changed;
- six tiles: Regime, Volatility, Risk, Trend, Tail risk and Anomaly;
- the key levels;
- three questions, each with its probability;
- the consensus across models.
Every figure says where it comes from
Every figure in a Pulse summary says where it comes from: an AION model, a declared calculation on the models' outputs or on market data, or the data provider. The evidence drawer shows which.
When a figure is not computed, Pulse does not fill the gap: it shows a dash and the reason, never a zero.
The headline sentence of the summary is written by rules, not by a language model.
The summary describes the state of an instrument and the evidence behind it. It does not tell anyone what to do. AION informs; the manager decides.
Models: each row starts from a question
The Models hub is organised in five areas: Time series, Macro, Strategies, Screener and Experimental. Every row starts from the question it answers, and opens the model, or the group of models, that answers it. The 64 models can be searched by name and by concept.
Brain, for beta users
Brain, AION's assistant, takes a question and opens a workflow. It is currently reserved for beta users. For them, a question asked from a Pulse summary goes to Brain, which reads that summary's figures from the server cache instead of recomputing them.
For developers and AI agents
The same engine is open to other tools. AION's platform offers a REST API under /v1, authenticated with an API key, and an MCP server, so that AI assistants such as Claude can call AION's analyses as tools.
Two themes
AION 1.0 has two themes, light and dark. Each is designed with its own colours, materials and shadows rather than as an inversion of the other, with a single accent: blue in the light theme, copper in the dark one. On a first visit, AION opens in the light theme.
Access
AION is available on request, through a waitlist.
